### 10.1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small record a website stores in your browser to recognise it on your next visit. We use the same word for similar technologies: browser local storage and a browser identifier calculated from its settings (browser fingerprint).

### 10.2. Categories and consent

- **Strictly necessary** — sign-in, security and language choice. No consent required.
- **Analytics and improvement** — visit counters, click maps, session recordings. Set only with your consent if you are in the EU, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
- **Marketing** — markers showing where a visitor came from (invitation, partner link) and recognising the browser again.

### 10.3. How you give consent

- **When you sign in.** Below the sign-in form: “By signing in, you accept the terms, privacy policy and cookies”. Signing in means consent to all categories in this section.
- **Through the banner.** If you do not sign in, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen: “OK” gives consent, the “Decline” link refuses it.
- Your choice is stored in `rp_consent` for one year and applies to all Portal sites at once.

### 10.4. Our cookies

| rp_cc | Visitor country, to open the site via the Russian address from Russia | necessary | 1 day |
| rp_mdev | Recognise a guest in the chat with Marisa (AI assistant) | necessary | 1 year |

| rp_invite, rp_invite_link, rp_invite_src | Invitation from a specialist or school you arrived through | marketing | 180 days |

Browser local storage keeps display settings: theme, language, when you last closed the “Sign in” bar, how long you have been reading. These records are not sent to the server.

### 10.6. How to refuse or withdraw consent

- Delete cookies in your browser settings — we will ask again on your next visit. Help: [Chrome](https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647), [Safari](https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/sfri11471/mac), [Firefox](https://support.mozilla.org/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox).
- Opt out of Google Analytics on all sites: [Google add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Yandex Metrica: [Yandex instructions](https://yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html).
- Write to [mail@reincarnatiopedia.com](mailto:mail@reincarnatiopedia.com) — we will withdraw consent and delete statistics linked to your account.

Without strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and the account will not work. Refusing the others does not stop you from reading the Portal.

### 10.7. Changes

The list changes when we add or remove services. We publish the new version here with its date. If a new category appears, we will ask for consent again.
